    As a mother of mixed children, it is extremely important to me that my boys understand that love and kindness is 所有 around them. The love in which they were created and raised, the love of people like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and 所有 those who fought and continue to fight for a pure love and equality between mankind. As cliche as it may be, love finds a way to conquer.


    So this Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend, I want to honor love, compassion, kindness and equality. I want to show my children that they were created with pure love and that 没有 can ever stand in their way.


    As scary as the world may be at times, it is forever moving forward and changing for the better. I want to show my children that humankind is innately good and that we are 所有 equal. I want them to see a message of unwavering love and kindness.
